This was a message I received in my e-mail today and it resonated with me:

Morning Devotions

17th day of the 5th month
I have been praying just about every morning now for many months as YHWH has laid it upon my heart to do. Lately, though, I began keeping a notebook beside me and when “things” come to me, I write them down.
Yesterday, I took my son to get a haircut for both of us. Wanting a certain person who was very good and personable. We were told she had left about a month ago and it would be a 30 minute wait. Disappointed, but still needing haircuts, we waited. And we waited. And….we waited. When an hour had passed and it was obvious the two customers who were there before us, were getting treatments done that the stylists who were there knew well in advance that our wait would be longer when we first signed in, I had already gone past my point of patience. We got up and I said to them out loud for all to hear that they could take our names off the list and that with any future customers they should not lie about the wait time and we walked out.
Later I was able to speak with the person who usually cut my hair who had “left”. It was not of her own accord. She had been there since the opening of this place, for 3 years and all was fine until a new girl showed up. From that point on things changed and the newcomer worked her way into being the lead stylist and then the person who cut my hair was forced to leave. I could go into details but suffice it to say, a good person who was also very good at her job, was done wrong. She is crushed in her heart and cannot understand this type of betrayal and deceit as it was her first experience. I on the other hand have had more than my share over the years of my life and everything she told me, I have been through. The only difference were the people and the jobs, but the experience was the same.
Perhaps for right now she is still grieving, but throughout her telling me, I couldn’t help thinking that perhaps YHWH was working in this matter. That He has something else in store for her, something better. Then I realized this morning as I prayed for her and for the people who had done her wrong, that without Torah, without knowing who God really is, without the discernment needed to “see” how He works in our lives through others, it is virtually impossible for people to recover and see that we must have faith that YHWH works all things for the good of those who love Him.
Then that lead me to thinking that with limited knowledge, comes limited blessings. That even though the “Seed” of the Ruach HaKodesh is planted in us when we receive EHYEHshua into our hearts, that if the soil in which it is planted is malnourished then how can that seed flourish and grow strong?
Then, the next though was comparing our “soil” or us as beings, to GMO crops. To expand, most of us are DMF crops. Our “soil”(soul) has been treated with Doctrinally Modified Faith.
What does that mean to be fed with DMF? It is limited knowledge. It is no different than malnutritioned soil and if we plant seeds in it, they will not flourish. Or consider that my son, after we used a lemon, attempted to plant a seed from it. It grew initially but then stopped growing. It was stunted and did not thrive. It was from a GMO lemon.
It was not a “God” lemon. It was not created by YHWH, but from a lab somewhere.
Why did it stop growing? Because it was “man made”. It had NO LIFE in it.
Then YHWH helped me to understand that in His Torah, He declares and it is written that we are given the choice to choose LIFE or DEATH. Blessing or Curse. It is a choice.
But HOW can we know we have a choice and HOW can we choose LIFE over DEATH, if we do not know His Torah?

And HOW can we know His Torah if we do not know WHO WE ARE?
Changing gears but not changing gears, just this morning I spoke a thought to my husband about our political parties. I said they should be done away with. That people should not be registered to vote under one or the other party. That it not only causes dissension and divisions, but it can cause fraud and deceit. That each citizen should be allowed to just register to vote as a person and not a party affiliate.
Then understanding that this same principle should be applied to matters of faith. Why do we have so many different flavors of Christianity? Judaism? If we read the same Bible and have the same God; If we petition the same God in prayer, why are we so divided?
The answer is simple. We are divided by our part affiliations and these are man made.
The answer is to REMOVE party affiliation. REMOVE DOCTRINE. REMOVE DEATH.

Let the people choose for themselves. How many times have you found yourself in a church or congregation and someone asks a question that goes against doctrine, but is a sound and good question based upon the WORD and they are ostracized and silenced for their rebellion against the doctrine of that faith? In other words, their simple quest for the truth is oppressed.
It is time for all of us to become “Scripturists”. True adhere-rs to the Word. Look up the definition for yourselves. What a beautiful word to define and describe a true follower who believes in ALL of the Word as being that of our God, YHWH and just as Paul says, is useful for instruction and teaching as the word “Torah” means.
Anywhere you read these days, there are articles about the failing Christian churches, the departure of people and especially the youth of this nation from any sort of morals or faith.
That bible studies, Vacation Bible Schools and the such are just filled with games and music and NONSENSE that has NOTHING to do with teaching???
That worship services are filled with Starbucks Coffee and pastors or church leaders who just fly through saying prayers and sermons as if it pains them to say the words? Or pastors and church leaders who pick and choose the words out of verses because either they don’t understand what the verse truly means or they have another agenda. Or perhaps they feel threatened by the true meaning of the verse or message and don’t want to share it. THIS IS CHEATING AND STEALING FROM YHWH, HIS GIFT TO HIS PEOPLE.

Pastors and church leaders WILL have to ANSWER for their actions or lack thereof.

IT IS TIME TO STOP PRACTICING DOCTRINE AND LISTEN TO YHWH AND READ AND STUDY ALL OF HIS WORD.

IT IS TIME TO MAKE FRESH BREAD FOR THE PEOPLE AND STOP CHEWING ON THE STALE BREAD OF DOCTRINE.
