Barry – shows ties to French, German, Irish and Scottish.
They could very well all be part of the same families.
In the French COAs the Unicorn of Ephraim is seen, just as in your husband’s. I have read that many who are of Israel, tend to marry within their own tribes, obviously, we have not known we are doing this!!
Seybold – shows German origin and there is no way to tell what tribe at this time as it only contains a large “S”.
Archer – (English origin) shows royalty in two crowns with a what appears to be a wolf’s head. A crown around the neck (this means something but I haven’t found out yet what)
Then also, a crown on the head. The wolf would mean Benjamin and perhaps even of Saul’s family lines since evidence of the crown would suggest that.
The French “Archer” shows a cluster of grapes, possible again, indicating Ephraim.
“Wiles” also shows the arrows that are also depicted in the English “Archer” COAs.
I believe that when one or more COAs, share the same symbols, that families are tied together somehow.
In many cases, the symbols for each tribe of Israel can be found in the Coat of Arms for the surnames. But—- as time went on and people forgot who they were, they began adopting symbols that reflected either their trade or business or accomplishments and so then put these symbols on their COAs.
Heraldry is such a huge field of study and is ongoing with findings. Names that might not show up one day, might well, months later show up in the databases. I am trying to collect information when I find it in my travels on the internet.
Houseofnames.com is so far, the more reliable source for discovering symbols tied to Israel.

Before I found out any of this information I felt that I had already belonged somewhere. Ever since I was a child, I knew I was being protected. Mannerisms that I have indicate I am from one of the tribes. I rock back and forth, when I pray and read scripture. My husband also is from the Tribe of Judah along King David’s line.

Many of us are brothers and sisters, whether through faith or family history and we don’t even know the latter cause our identities had been wiped away from blending into other cultures. You also could be my brother or sister 🙂 .
